Add a Fusion Pair
| 1. | Select the Add Fusion tab. |
| 2. | Select Search Symbol Pair(s). |
| 3. | In the Symbol Pair search field, enter a gene symbol or symbol pair. |
When searching by symbol pair, enter the pair in [donor]-[acceptor] format.
| 4. | Select an option from the drop-down list to see the available fusion designs in the database. |
| 5. | Add a fusion to the design by selecting its checkbox and selecting Add Selected Fusion(s). |
Multiple fusion pairs can be added at a time. Each fusion is individually listed by Acceptor Transcript ID or COSMIC Fusion ID. Illumina recommends adding all available fusions for a symbol pair to improve gene fusion detection.
