  • BaseSpace Informatics Suite: Introduction to Cohort Analyzer & Correlation Engine

Recorded Webinar (January 2020)| BaseSpace™ Informatics Suite simplifies genomic data management, analysis and reporting using a secure, scalable and open Platform. Illumina Technical Support invites you to learn about Cohort Analyzer and Correlation Engine, tools in the informatics suite that enable interpretation and reporting of multi-dimensional genomic data. We will cover the following topics: overview of Cohort Analyzer and Correlation Engine, using Cohort Analyzer and Correlation Engine with your experimental design, a demonstration of Cohort Analyzer and Correlation Engine, and how the tools positively impact research programs.

  • BaseSpace Sequence Hub: Command Line Tools for Basic Analysis - Part I

Recorded Webinar (August 2019) | BaseMount and BaseSpace CLI are tools for navigating BaseSpace Sequence Hub accounts through a command line interface. These tools greatly reduce effort when uploading, downloading, and viewing data on BaseSpace. This webinar is intended for advanced BaseSpace users with knowledge operating in a command line environment. In this webinar we will discuss and demonstrate: The difference between BaseMount and BaseSpace CLI, installation and Requirements for each tool, how to use the tools with all BaseSpace Sequence Hub account types (Basic, Professional, Enterprise), how to upload and downloading data with each tool, and navigating through data folders using each tool.

Please note: BaseMount and BaseSpace CLI are alpha software releases; features and functionality may change over time, and support is directly through Illumina software development.

  • BaseSpace Sequence Hub: FASTQ Processing Tools for Data Analysis

Recorded Webinar (October 2019) | FASTQ files store biological sequence and quality information and are key for downstream data analysis pipelines. Several steps are necessary during FASTQ generation to ensure optimal data analysis. This webinar is targeted at new and intermediate users including biologists intending to understand output of basic bioinformatics tools used for processing FASTQs. We will focus on BaseSpace Sequence Hub tools such as FASTQC and FASTQ toolkit*.

We will cover the following topics: What is a FASTQ file; An overview of Illumina FASTQ generation tools; FASTQ processing such as adapter trimming, masking, quality trimming, read stitching etc; and Highlight the differences between Illumina run performance metrics and output generated by third party tools such as FASTQC.

*BaseSpace Labs Apps are developed using an accelerated development process in order to make them available to BaseSpace users faster than conventional Illumina Apps. Illumina may provide support for BaseSpace labs Apps at its sole discretion. BaseSpace Labs Apps are provided AS-IS without any warranty of any kind. BaseSpace Labs Apps are used at the user’s sole risk. Illumina is not responsible for any loss of data, incorrect results, or any costs, liabilities, or damages that may result from the use of a BaseSpace Labs App.

  • BaseSpace Sequence Hub: Introduction and Analysis Overview
