Import Custom Annotation

Select the Settings

icon or select Settings from the Account menu drop-down list.

Select the Custom Annotations tab.

[Optional] Download a template to create a custom annotation as follows.

Select Download Sample Annotation to download the template.
In a text editor such as Notepad, follow input requirements to modify the template as needed.
Save in *.txt file format.

Select Add Annotation.

Select the Reference genome: hg19/GRC37 or GRCh38.

Select Choose File.

Browse to the custom annotation (*.txt) file and select Open.

[Optional] Edit the default label for the custom annotation.

Select Save to upload the file.

If a validation error occurs, correct the errors in the file and then reimport.
