Create a TruSeq Targeted RNA Design/Add Targets to the Design

Add Targets to the Design

A target region comprises a pair of coordinates that define a contiguous sequence in the genome. For example, a target region could span from Chr15 start coordinate 15000000 to Chr15 stop coordinate 15000500. Target refers to the actual coordinates used for designing probes. A design can contain numerous targets, and these targets can be discontinuous. Use the following methods to add targets to the design:

Method

Description

Add Targets Using Search

Use the Search tab to find targets using a number of different criteria.

Add Targets Using Free Text

Use the Free Text tab to define a list of targets based on chromosome coordinates or gene names.

Add Targets by Uploading Files

Use the File Upload tab to define targets based on data in a CSV (*.csv) or TSV (*.tsv) file.
