Add Targets to the Design
A target region comprises a pair of coordinates that define a contiguous sequence in the genome. For example, a target region could span from Chr15 start coordinate 15000000 to Chr15 stop coordinate 15000500. Target refers to the actual coordinates used for designing probes. A design can contain numerous targets, and these targets can be discontinuous. Use the following methods to add targets to the design:
Method |
Description |
---|---|
Use the Gene tab to define targets based on gene name. |
|
Use the Free Text tab to define a list of targets based on chromosome coordinates or gene names. |
|
Use the Coordinate tab to define targets based on chromosome coordinates. Use this option to add a target not included in the stock reference coordinates. |
|
Use the File Upload tab to define targets based on data in a CSV (*.csv) or TSV (*.tsv) file. |
