Introduction
The BaseSpace® App, Amplicon DS , aligns reads against the reference specified in the manifest files using the banded Smith-Waterman algorithm. After alignment, the somatic variant caller performs variant analysis. This workflow is designed specifically for dual-strand targeted resequencing assays. Both Ensembl and RefSeq are available for annotation.
