Add Miscellaneous Evidence
Use Miscellaneous evidence to support any association type.
| 1. | In the Add Curation panel, select Add New Evidence. |
| 2. | Select the Evidence Type drop-down arrow, and then select Miscellaneous. |
| 3. | Enter the evidence source in the Source field. |
| 4. | Enter the evidence content in the Content field. |
| 5. | Select the Support Type drop-down arrow, and select a support type. The list of support types varies based on the association type. |
| 6. | [Optional] From the Date Submitted calendar, select the date the evidence was submitted. You can use this to specify an original submission date for data that you are migrating from a legacy database, for example. |
| 7. | Select the Evidence Strength drop-down arrow, and then select an evidence strength. Refer to ACMG Standards and Guidelines for classification criteria. |
NOTE
ACMG Supporting strength is equivalent to BaseSpace Variant Interpreter Weak strength.
| 8. | Select the Miscellaneous Type drop-down arrow, and then select the source type. |
| 9. | [Optional] Enter a summary of the evidence in the Evidence Summary field. |
| 10. | Select Save Evidence. |
