Illumina Technical Support is excited to announce the release of Illumina Knowledge, a publicly available knowledge tool. You can access hundreds of articles related to Illumina microarrays, library preparation, Illumina sequencing platforms and software, and data analysis. The tool is designed to answer commonly asked questions and provide troubleshooting assistance using a keyword search algorithm and a product-based browsing structure. 

Illumina Knowledge content is ever growing. Technical Support knowledge experts add new articles following product releases and product updates. The team also refines and updates existing content using Illumina internal knowledge base and product expert information. Visit Illumina Knowledge often to access the most up-to-date technical information.

How to use Illumina Knowledge

Keyword search

  1. Select Search in the top right to open the search window.
  2. Enter a keyword and scroll through suggested articles or add more keywords to refine the results.
  3. To access a specific article, select the title or the content field.


 

Browsing Structure

Articles are grouped in four product-based categories:

  • Instrumentation
  • Library Preparation
  • Microarray
  • Software

For each product or product group, content is curated based on article type: FAQ, Reference Material, and Troubleshooting.

  1. To browse articles, select a product in the browsing structure on the right side of the page.
  2. Select an article type.
  3. To access a specific article, select the article title.
