DRAGEN Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) User Account Vulnerability Correction

Illumina has identified changes that you should apply to mitigate the vulnerability. Illumina requires that these actions are performed on all impacted systems, regardless of whether the instruments are connected to an external internet or local network. Refer to the instructions below.

  • Illumina DRAGEN Server v4
  • Illumina DRAGEN Server (as part of NovaSeq 6000Dx*)
  • Illumina DRAGEN Server (as an option with NextSeq 550Dx*)

*For in vitro diagnostic use.

Failure to follow these instructions could leave your system exposed to the vulnerability.

Note: The following instructions are to be applied directly to the DRAGEN server, not to the sequencing instruments to which they are associated.
