Prior to joining Illumina, she worked in Korea National Institute of Health as a senior researcher and ThermoFisher Scientific as a Field Application Scientist for NGS. Deresa joined Illumina as a Field Applications Scientist in May 2015 and transferred Technical Applications Scientist in May 2018. Since then, she has developed a specialization in providing technical support for the instrumentation queue.

Prior to joining Illumina, he researched microbiome study and published microbiome papers by using Illumina technology. And he worked as a Asst. Researcher in R&D center at Food hygiene company. He provided NGS sequencing and 16S metagenomics services. He joined Illumina as a Technical Application Scientist in Jul 2018. Since then, he has developed a specialization in providing technical support for the high throughput NGS queue and 16S metagenomics queue.
