Grants to Boost Genomics Startups | SF Bay | Cambridge, UK | Melbourne | Singapore
Illumina for Startups Grants competition encourages entrepreneurs to build startups using next-generation sequencing. Awarded grant winners have the opportunity to spend one week at Illumina Accelerator (San Francisco or Cambridge, UK) or Illumina Innovation Collective (Melbourne, Australia) to run proof-of-concept sequencing experiments. It’s a great way to learn more about each other and to help advance your genomics-driven startup.
Sequencing
Startups work with Illumina sequencing systems and reagents in a fully operational lab space.
Coaching
Startups receive business expertise and guidance.
We are accepting rolling applications for Illumina for Startups Grants. Apply today for a chance to spend one week with our team.
*The grant is valid for 6 months from the date awarded. Applicants must incorporate their startup before arrival. Grant recipients are responsible for travel and accommodations.

Startups can now apply for Illumina Startups Grants in SF Bay Area, Cambridge, UK, Melbourne, Australia and Singapore.
Opened in 2021, Illumina for Startups Australia offers grants at Illumina Innovation Collective in Melbourne, Australia, located in the heart of the Parkville Boimedical Precinct at the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Opened in 2022, Illumina for Startups Singapore offers nearby Illumina Singapore campus.
